Artists and Ascension ~ the art of moving to the next level, because we are always creating the next level even while we’re at this one.

To ascend is to move to a different place from the place you are at now. We could say that ascending is transcending. Trans is a prefix from the Latin meaning across, beyond, through, on the other side of. Ascending is Transcending the place you are now, in order to go to the next place you would like to be.

Host Nancy Wait talks with writers and artists, musicians and poets. We discuss our work, with the emphasis on higher consciousness and expanding our awareness. The last Tuesday of each month is reserved for what we call R.Y.S.A. Day, or Read Your Stories Aloud day. It is an acronym for Rysa, the creator of the Gold Ring, an internet community of soul seekers, healers and teachers. At the present time, with the Earth undergoing a transformation from the material to the spiritual, we look to creative artists of all mediums, as their imagination and vision can be seen as pathways, as gateways, to the new world.

The purpose of our show is to put a focus on the transformative vision of creative artists in a variety of fields, and come to a new understanding of their work and their purpose.

Some of the questions we ask:

What is the relationship between an artist and the ascension process?
How does galvanizing one’s creativity in the arts assist in moving through the illusions of the Fourth Dimension to arrive at what we all strive for, Fifth Dimensional awareness?
And when do we get caught up in our own ego dramas as artists?

Art has always been way to communicate ideas, feelings and emotions that are beyond the usual channels. Please join us as we talk to some of the many musicians and visual artists, writers and poets, exploring the varied perspectives and viewpoints of creative hearts and minds in dawn of this new age.

Whether painter, writer, photographer, musician, film-maker or worker in any of the other innumerable forms, A&A is a drawing together of those who are working towards ascension, in the hope that we will all learn something about each other and about ourselves, and feed our souls with art at the same time.
